college tennis jobs
recommend college?
i’m going college visiting this summer, and i’ve done my research but i would like some opinions.
i’m looking for a speech pathology program.
in new york.
preferably not in the middle of no where, i’m a city person.
i have about a 3.4 gpa, i play tennis yearround, work 2 jobs, i take college level & honors courses.
The two colleges in New York that I found speech pathology programs at were:
* Buffalo State University
* Ithaca College
I provided links below of these colleges as well as others in other states that provide this program. When I did some research on it, most of the colleges only seemed to offer graduate level courses for the MS. The ones I have listed below all offer BS for undergrads though.
I know you are looking for a school in New York, but I would suggest looking into Purdue University in West lafayette, Indiana. Their Speech – Language Pathology program is ranked #3 in the nation and their Audiology program is ranked # 8 in the nation. I have a few friends studying this program there and they love it. Although it is not the “city” life you probably want… it is only about 2 hours from Chicago and 45 minutes from Indianapolis…so not too far from the city.
You shouldn’t have a problem getting into a college with your grades and activities. Just make sure not to slack off your senior year (especially 2nd semester)…colleges don’t like to see kids take it easy just becuase school is almost out.
