whats wrong with stringing a poly with a nylon?

i just got my racquet strung with babolat ballistic 16g on the mains at 63 lb and prince tournoment nylon 15g at 61 on the cross the stringer said that it was not a good combination.
why i dont get it.can some one help me please.

A couple of things are going on here that are potential problems.
The polyester string(Babolat)is stiff and very durable. Then you’ve combo’d it with a non-responsive thick gauge mono nylon that would ordinarily be the string used for durability.
You didn’t say if the Gamma is mid or oversize, but you’re at the high end for string tension. It’s already a control frame and you’re taking away power with the high tension(especially on the poly).
My recommendation would be to drop the overall tension to under 60lb(try 58).
Stick with the poly(you could go to 17g and really pick up some spin),but go to a good multi-filament nylon for the crosses. I personally dislike Prince Synthetic, but that’s me. I’d stay with the Babolat and do XCel premium if you got the money and Conquest to save some.
Now, having said all this, you could find that you just love your combo the best and that would be fine for you, but realistically, I think you’re going to feel a real difference.
