Microgel Monster

is the HEAD microgel team series monster tennis racquet good for me ?

i wanna know cuz i broke my old racket, i was playing and i hit the ball with alot of power and the strings broke and the frame, in its side broke. So i wanna know will the HEAD microgel team series monster be able to witstand aggressive play.

btw : my playstyle is using a long fast swing , with alot of power ( believe me i add alot of power) and occationaly i use short fast swings if i need to but most of the time long fast swings with lots of power.
oh btw i forgot to add that will the HEAD microgel team series monster break if i use alot of power in my shots , or will it be able to withstand the power

By hitting the ball you should not be breaking rackets! Rackets are designed to withstand “aggressive play”.

Ok, so the particular racket you are discussing is said to be made with the “lowest density of any material”. The racket has silicone-based material. It has stiff and strong carbon composite fibers. Head states that MicroGel technology “uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame on impact of the ball”.

Possibly, depending on your level, you may want to upgrade to a heavier racket. This will help you control the ball better. Your present racket choice provides more power rather than control. As tennis players increase there skills they tend to go for heavier rackets. It is more important to control the ball then use power. With control comes power.

Best of luck!
