How are Slazenger Tennis Championship Nylon Strings, can anyone tell me from knowledge or past experience
I just bought a brand new Head Microgel Extreme Mid plus, and chose Slazenger Tennis Championship Nylon Strings because the guy said they were the best strings. I am not an expert on strings, so any advice is welcome
To be quite honest, the average player won’t notice much difference from one brand to the other. I know a lot of the top players are into the Luxilon brand strings and those are really the “hot” thing on tour right now. I’m a solid 3.5 player and I switched from Prince nylon string to a Babolat hybrid setup and notice very little change other than slightly better feel at the net. The strings you picked are fine and you’ll find that the nylon is far more durable than a natual gut, although, I would advise you to change your strings at least once a year because they eventually will go dead. BTW, good choice of racquet. I demoed the Microgel Extreme and the only thing that kept me from buying it was that it was somwhat lighter than I would have liked.
