Are shock absorbers good on a tennis racket?

I am getting a brand new racket either the prince exo graphite 100 or the rebel team 95 and i was wondering if i should put a shock absorber on it

You probably already know this, but the shock absorbers just do as the name says and absorbs a bit of the force put onto the tennis strings when you hit making a bit different of a Noise as well. Although according to this, the shock absorber does more than just that also taking some pressure off of your arm when you hit.

Personally I took mine off to have a better feel for the ball
