Does a collision between matter and antimatter, equivalent to one ton of TNT, produce a bright light?
I read that its spectrum is mostly gamma and X-rays, but I was wondering if the blast created produced a bright light, or just something equivalent to the end scene in Angels & Demons.
Thanks.
I don’t understand your reference to TNT in this question…What type of matter shouldn’t matter. But if the collision is at high speed and energy new particles will be created. I’m sure there would be some light, yes. VERY brief but yes.
