Will I get accpedted to Ivy League?
I have a cum unweighted 3.8 GPA, cum weighted 5.01 GPA. I am vice president of medical club, secretary of crime watch, and vice president for business club. I also play varsity tennis and golf for two years.
1250 on SAT
650 AP chem II subject test
AP tests: 3, 4, 5, 5, 3, 4
Take 6 AP’s and is a senior.
furthermore, I play video ga,es on the professional level, play chess, and love to breakdance.
Will I make it into duke, johns hopkins, vanderbilt, etc?
I’m in a similar situation to you, I have a bit higher GPA, but a couple less extra-curriculars. Having seen people from my school get accepted to top schools, I think you stand a decent chance at every school except Harvard. They pretty much don’t even look at you unless you have a 4.0 unweighted. My other advice would be to take the ACT assuming you have time. The only weakness you have is the SAT score. A bit higher score would help you easily make it into a Duke or Johns Hopkins. As it is, you’re kind of on the edge.
