Table Tennis Rules?
If you’re in the middle of a rally and you nail an outside shot into the metal base that holds your net on the table and it causes a completely missed ball to bounce up and over the net and on the table, do you still get the point?
Notice how the higher quality nets have metal bases that grip the top of the table, well that portion that is sitting on top of the table perfectly hit a ping pong ball and bounced the ball onto the opponents side of the table. So the ball never really hit the wrong side of the table, it hit the base of the net and bounced over. Does that paint a good enough picture? So does that count as good or bad?
Whenever the ball hits any part of the net ( metal construction too ) and falls into the other side of the table, the point is good! New rules even allow that in serving, there is no repeat of the serve any more.
