Where can I find cheap flat bed sheets?
I need to find 40 flat bed sheets for cheap. Any suggestions? I also thought linen tablecloths might work…
I help run games at a youth camp and we are playing a game that requires the students to catch launched tennis balls with the sheets. If you have any other suggestions too, I am open…thanks!
Go to a fabric store and check the bargain bins. Walmart has cheap fabric usually too. It doesn’t matter what the fabric looks like, right, as long as the pieces are big enough and strong enough to catch a tennis ball? Might make the game a bit more fun if all the nets were different colours and patterns. Broadcloth would work though it’s usually only 36″ wide. Thrift stores will have cheap bedsheets though you might have to hit every one in town to get 40 sheets, but they often sell lengths of fabric and old curtains too. Sheets would have the advantage of having all finished edges so they wouldn’t unravel. If there’s a commercial linen service in town, or a hospital that does its own laundry(increasingly rare), you might call and ask if they have any sheets that are getting ready to be retired, that they would donate for a good cause.
